Chanel was selected to represent Canada at Miss Continente Americano held in Quayaquil, Ecuador. She won the title of Miss Photogenic.

November 2010
Seoul Korea is the next destination for Chanel. She will be competing at the 23rd edition of World Miss University. The organization has selected over 50 university women from across the world to participate. They will be discussing and debating international relations, global issues and peace missions between their countries. The competition will be held on December 12th.

February 2010
Miss International Canada 2009 Chanel Beckenlehner will be working with the Top 12 GTA Miss Universe Canada 2010 Delegates with various charitable fundraising projects coming up over the course of the next few months. Please stay tuned on this website as well as my blog for updates regarding these initiatives.

Project 1) eBay Online Charitable Auction February 8th - 15th 2010
SOS Children's Villages is an independent, non-governmental social development organization, which has been active in the field of children's needs, concerns and rights since 1949. Its activities focus on neglected and abandoned children and orphans, as well as disadvantaged families. SOS Children's Villages carries out its activities in 132 different countries and territories. On behalf of the Top 12 GTA Miss Universe Canada 2010 Delegates, we thank you for your contributions in helping to raise proceeds for SOS Children’s Villages through our online eBay auction. With your support we can secure a future for those who are unable to help themselves. Children need our help every day - people in need cannot wait until tomorrow. This auction will go live on February 8th and will close February 15th 2010.

Project 2) Brix Napa Valley Wine + Grille Fundraising Evening February 12th 2010
Come out for a night of sizzling fun with the Miss Universe Canada TOP 12 GTA ladies at Brix Napa Valley Wine and Grille (Hwy 7/Commerce Valley East in Richmond Hill) for a Pre-Valentines' Night! There will be DJ and dancing, Sleeman's Beer Tasting, Photo shoots and autographs with Top 12 as well as great raffle give-a-ways. The event will commence at 10 pm. All proceeds raised will go towards SOS Childrenʼs Villages.

Chanel was honored to be named by Global Beauties as one of the TOP 50 MOST BEAUTIFUL FACES OF 2009! The women selected were chosen among the world’s most prestigious pageants. Out of thousands of women who competed nationally and internationally in 2009, only 50 were chosen to become part of this esteemed list.

Out of ALL of the 2009 international pageants, the Missosology Organization announced Miss International 2009 Canadaʼs national costume "The Royal Canadian Mounted Police", as the winner of "The Best National Costume of 2009".  A special thanks goes out to Antoniette Catenacci our fabulous Canadian designer who is truly unmatched in
her talent and artistry!

November 28th 2009
Chanel Beckenlehner placed in the Top 15 as a semi finalist in the 2009 Miss International Pageant! This grand slam international competition brought over 66 of the worldʼs most beautiful women together to compete for the highly coveted title of Miss International 2009.. Alejandra Andreu of Spain crowned Anagabriela Espinoza of Mexico as the new titleholder. The last time Canada placed in Miss International Pageant was in 2000 by Angeliki Lakouras.

November 2009
Chanel has been selected to represent Canada at the 49th Miss International 2009 competition. This pageant will be held November 12th - November 28th in Chengdu (Sichuan Province, China). Over 60 contestants are expected to attend the pageant. Alejandra Andreu of Spain will crown her successor at the end of the event.

October 2009
Chanel will be a feature guest of honour at Caledon’s 2nd annual Pink Tie Gala October 23rd 2009. Breast Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in women. Together we can work towards creating awareness and helping in the fight to end breast cancer. Its purpose is to raise money to help people within the Caledon area who are going through a difficult time with breast cancer.

Chanel will be a presenter of awards at the High Point Awards and Ribbions grand opening.

Chanel is a special guest at The Casalvieri Club Toronto 40th Anniversary Celebration on October 11th 2009.
