Biography

Ambitious in her goals and quest for success, Chanel Beckenlehner believes it is necessary to have high standards to work towards. Tackling life with a professional edge, she is driven by competition and always seeking challenges. Chanel is a pre law student specializing in Political Science at the University of Toronto. Her appreciation and deep respect for the diversities within our country's population, has propelled her life goals to become an advocate for social justice and rights. She enjoys golfing, acting, working out and spending quality time with her family. Chanel has a background of elite athletic training in the equestrian sport of Dressage and competitive dance. Based on her strong work ethic, perseverance, optimistic outlook and kind heart, she is passionately committed to making a difference.


Pageant Achievements

November 2010
Seoul Korea is the next destination for Chanel. She will be competing at the 23rd edition of World Miss University. The organization has selected over 50 university women from across the world to participate. They will be discussing and debating international relations, global issues and peace missions between their countries.

The competition will be held on December 12th.

September 2010
Chanel was selected to represent Canada at Miss Continente Americano held in Quayaquil, Ecuador. She won the title of Miss Photogenic.

January 2010
Chanel was honored to be named by Global Beauties as one of the TOP 50 MOST BEAUTIFUL FACES OF 2009! The women selected were chosen among the world’s most prestigious pageants. Out of thousands of women who competed nationally and internationally in 2009, only 50 were chosen to become part of this esteemed list.

November 2009
Chanel has been selected to represent Canada at the 49th Miss International 2009 competition. This pageant will be held November 12th - November 28th in Chengdu (Sichuan Province, China). About 60 contestants are expected to attend the pageant. Alejandra Andreu of Spain will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Chanel Beckenlehner placed in the Top 15 as a semi finalist in the 2009 Miss International Pageant! This grand slam international competition brought over 66 of the worldʼs most beautiful women together to compete for the highly coveted title of Miss International 2009.. Alejandra Andreu of Spain crowned Anagabriela Espinoza of Mexico as the new titleholder. The last time Canada placed in Miss International Pageant was in 2000 by Angeliki Lakouras.

July/August 2009
Chanel was selected to represent Toronto, Canada at the Miss Global Beauty Queen 2009 Pageant held in Daqing, China. Chanel became a semi finalist and placed within the Top 15. This competition is an international event in which well over 60 delegates from around the world vied for the title. Chanel won the Miss Charm award.

May 2009
Miss Beckenlehner was one of 57 delegates who competed for the esteemed title of Miss Universe Canada 2009. Chanel became a semi finalist who placed within the Top 12 for the national title. In addition, she became the winner of 2 fast track awards (Miss Elegance as well Audience Favorite) at the Miss Universe Canada 2009 pageant.

January 2009
Chanel was selected to represent Canada at the Reinado Internacional del Cafe 2009 Pageant held in Manizales, Colombia. Chanel became a semi finalist apart of the Top 10. This competition was an international event in which 21 delegates from around the world vied for the title.

November 2008
Miss Universe Canada GTA and Central Ontario Preliminary 2009 Pageant Top 12 Finalist. In addition, elected Miss Congeniality by the other delegates.
